My dad wants his ranger to sound better but he's not into anything new. So I need the best BUT simplest to use HU out there. I am not interested in any flashyness or advanced features such as timing control. Just something thats very easy to use and straight forward.

you may also want to look into simple factory replacement speakers. nothing crazy needed just drop these right in place of factory.

yeah i didnt ask about speakers b/c i was just going to get some on my own.

The pioneers are too flash and difficult to use. I need simpler, haha.

if it is has a factory double din opening then i would imagine so. would check to see if the radio connectors are the same

yes to 1.8 din and 2 din. You'll just need an adaptor fascia. I got mine for £4 off ebay but I think in the states you can get them pretty much anywhere.

ps, that clarion one is full of retro charm, if I ever get round to buying a capri I'll put one in that for the 80s look. hehe

why replace stock with stock? there really isnt any benefit to it

if you want simple, look at the apline radios, dont remember the model number, but it goes for 149.99, and is about as simple as simple gets

i believe the model number is the cds-9874 if im not mistaken...
