I have a 2000 ZX3 and my trim on the side of my car keeps trying to pop off. I went to an auto parts store and they suggested an exterior glue to hold it down. But a couple of months later, it's now starting to come off again. Any other suggestions?? Thanks!

Almost sounds like a few of the clips are bad that hold it on.

You could go to a junk yard and get experience taking one off and then be able to snag a few of the clips for yourself to replace on yours.

I've never taken them off, but there are a few threads floating around of what it looks like taken off.

Clean the trim piece and the sheetmetal, and try a 2-part epoxy... that stuff holds anything. Mix it up, put a thin layer between the pieces and then hold pressure tight against the door until it sets.

Try the 3M Automotive grade double sided tape for emblems and moldings. I used it plenty of times and it has never failed me. I even used it to help hold the sideskirts on my fox Mustang because the mounting brackets rusted.
