starter power lead getting real hot any ideas,i checked the power line n its not grounding out on anything. But, the neg. terminal on the battery is loose .. the car didnt start a few times,... let it sit a lil then it started.. ne ideas...??

If the ground is loose then your pulling more amps and the + will get hot , clean the - and + on the Batt and try it again and see if that does not help
If not then you could have a starter going out pulling a lot of amps but I doubt it
