Got a 2002 Ford Focus w/ SPI and got a Accel Super Coil with European Contacts.

Would like to know from people who have replaced or upgraded ther Ignition Coil, how did you get the coil out? Did you take the bracket out or not, Tried to follow the Haynes manual and it really doesn't tell me crap, it this it's easy for them but it's difficult just looking a how it's set up.

The plug in that is on the side of the Ignition coil, How do you take it off? it's not like something you can just slip off and forget, it looks like a metal piece, Think that looks so much identical to escorts sure is pretty sad that som alteration were made or else I would of done it a long time ago, and I would not put this post up.

Quickly I need help Peeze!

the coil pack is held down with 4 bolts on all corners. the plug is a snap in, kinda like the MAF.

Just curious to y u bought the Accel and not like the Screamin Demon or the MSD setup from Karl over at Massive.

easy. it took me a while to get it figured out but i just installed one two days ago the electrical connectuin you have to squeeze the metal clip on the left and right side and pull up.

the stock coil is held on with the 4 7mm bolts fortunately mine only had three made life really easy however remove the easy three (i advise getting a box end wrench for this) then rotate the coil down slightly which will grant easier access to the bolt in back. leave the bracket attatched tho! if you need help www.myfordfocus.com look in the how to section on the screamin demon coil... its for a zetec but you will get the general idea

Thank you

Thanks for your kindness! When I posted this I was in the middle of figuring it out and it took a while but I had help and got it done. The person who replied after me, I did only buy the accel because I trust them 100%. I heared about the screaming Demons, but I didn't want to take that chance, I just don't want my car exploding that bad.
