I have an 06 sedan, and I found in the junkyard an 01 non SVT car with rear disk. From what I read, that means the car likely has traction control, which can still be used on my 06 that doesn't. I also read I can keep my 15 wheels, although the donor car has 16's. If it was a SVT car, my wheels would not clear the caliper.

The swap itself looks straight forward. The only question I have is whether the master cylinder needs to be changed, and how does the anti-lock work on rear disks. My drums have it, and I thought I read all rear disks do also.

I appreciate any info you can provide.

The swap is very easy to do if you pulled all the parts needed. (complete spindle with brake calipers, hoses, and parking brake lines) The ABS will work as normal and will easily clear 15in wheels. I never changed out master cylinder on mine and still stopped the same with the rear discs as with drums.
