It arrived on Wednesday, picked it up today. I've been promiscuously driving other peoples' manuals to get used to driving stick. I must say, this manual was the easiest to drive out of all of them. Around the dealer I was in a parking lot testing clutch biting point and such before I got onto main roads, the Sheehy dealer is right next to I95 and really busy so I was a bit intimidated . I decided to see if I could roll out in 1st as some people were wondering about that and you totally can without even too much rumble. This manual is like butter, and was smoother than the Honda/GTI/and old Escort I've driven for preparing. The engine is PUNCHY. It's great. I've been driving the engine like it's meant to be driven. Staying 2k clear of redline but doing a lot of quick acceleration and engine braking to seal the rings. Anyway, I absolutely love the car so far. Here are some pictures.

Yea, and the added cupholders and stuff in the back was an awesome bonus! Only the leather trims have those!

Sad news though, I think the thermostat is broken. I started it up today after it was cooled down for like 3 hours and it said the temp was halfway between the C and the H which is totally wrong. Took my girlfriend for a quick spin and felt the engine bay was pretty hot, but also the needle hadn't changed position. Gonna call the dealership tomorrow. Oh what we go through for new versions of cars haha...

Check again in the morning. I was afraid mine was broken too. But it only takes like a block of driving to get that thermostat to 1/2 way. So I think it's fairly sensitive - 3 hours during the day may not have been enough. Check it first thing as soon as you get in after a cold night's rest - just in case.

Oh wow that's interesting most cars I've driven the thermostat usually only goes to 1/4 of the way for normal operation. Thanks for the tip yea I'll check it in the morning hopefully the hurricane won't be pouring too much!

Temp gauge normal operating position is in the middle of the gauge.

I've had 3 new cars in 4-5 years time & have enjoyed every single one of them. I just get to the point where I've paid off what it is worth then upgrade!

I never have negative equity rolling into a new car. You'd be surprised what dealers are willing to do these days to sell a new car. ; )

The Tuscany interior is soooooo much better looking that the optional Holstein cow interior.

I want Red Tuscany but the SEL in Canada can only be ordered with the Arctic White or the regular Stone and Black interiors. I could order the SE Sport with Red Tuscany but the chrome belt line and 17" polished wheels are > the Red Tuscany for me. I'll probably be going Charcoal Cloth.
