Getting my fercus ready for winter. Got some nice Arctic Claw snow tires, some rubber floor mats...and now I'm looking for some mudflaps that fit and look nice.

Does anyone run mudflaps on their svt? Can you please post some pics of what you got and where you got them?

Thanks!

Universals look nice! Dig the white wheels on a black car too. I'll make this work, but I hope I can get the effect like yours. I need them to stick out a bit. Thanks!

thanks!! im trying to go for a rally look ,i love them but the only thing that is a pain is drilling the holes to put them because the first time i did the fronts they were to low so i kept scraping them on the ground. one more thing get stainless steel screw because i used trim screw, they are pretty rust and it doesn't look nice. i think you could yellow mudflaps but i think you could get them in the uk to ship them out here

Thank cossie.

dmeray1 makes customs ones on here. 20 shipped i believe. comes with flathead screws, templetes and instructions on mounting.

here is his thread : http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204908
Those are the ones I have. Forgot the exact name. not bad for the price. If you mount them allot lower that dmeray has them, like I did, the will bend a bit. Otherwise no complaints and have been on car for a few years.

So today I replaced the fuel filter, air filter and changed the oil. Installed new Goodyear wipers, Weathertech floor mats, my 16" cougar 6 spokes with TXi Arctic Claws and some fancy blue oval mud flaps from Amazon.

First off, the "custom fit" Weathertech floor mats are anything but custom. According to the package they fit nearly every 4 cylinder car on the market and will require a notch cut in them to prevent interference with the clutch pedal. Not $60 well spent IMO.

The flaps were something I've wanted but I'm picky about how they are mounted and of course how symmetrical they are. Much harder said than done especially since there aren't any real sturdy mounting locations for the front. After getting them lined up as even as possible using a tape measure I realized after mounting the rims and letting the suspension compress that the fronts are too low and will rub the ground on uneven pavement - especially when making a sharp turn. Considering the work required to relocate them I just said "screw it" and will let them "wear in" lol

Also, I have an Android phone so it's really convenient to upload to Flickr...but for some reason IMG tags won't work with my photos....guess it's time to clean out my photobucket account and abandon flickr...but here are some links to pics...keep in mind the car isn't on the most level pavement in the world....

Knowing my luck I'm bound to have more problems with the damn flaps than I would with ice and snow if I didn't have them...but....whatchagonnado?

I know this post is pretty old, but I just bought mud flaps and I'm wondering how to mount them. There isn't anything all that sturdy in the wheel wells. How have you guys mounted them?
