Hey guys, i'm doing and ATX to MTX swap and need to make sure that the linkages will work with the tranny I bought. I have the pre2002 setup, but a brand new tranny. If anyone could look at their own cars (post 2002) and see if the cables look the same, I would appreciate it.

Also can the bushing (see first pic) that is missing be replaced, or does the whole cable need to be replaced?

You know the PCM is different from an ATX to the Manual, right?

N/M Turns out that the shift tower on the tranny is for the duratec, not the Zetec. FYI.

Now I just have to find out if I can replace the bushing in the control cable.

The linkage looks right. Do you have the inside rubber mount for the white cable? Also there is a few of the tines missing on your shifter clip(you know the gray plastic sucker) I use a C- clip and never have had a problem since. The plastic clip will only break when you are nowhere near a store and then you will be stuck in that gear. I hope for you it`s not reverse.
