So I bought an ok CAI
and now I've been thinking about
a great exhaust.. what are your
opinions on great sounding exhausts?

next I want Toms tune..
how should I go about that?

and anything else anyone can think of
to make my SVT faster, without
buying a supercharger yet?
haha
:D

I'm not sure what I want to search for, which is why
I just post this and hope for answers haha
anyways, I want the sound..
but what about getting a long tube header and porting it?
would that remove the cat as well and just weld it to
the other end of where the cat was suppose to be?
or am I wrong?

there aint no better header then the svt header and just get a high flow cat if you dont want to remove the cat.

udp= under drive pulleys

UDP, under drive pulley.

The SVT header is a long tube header. And as SVTF200487 said, the SVT header is the best header (stock or aftermarket) that there is for the Focus so dont even bother changing that sucker out.

And as a side note, see if you can return the CAI, the SVT intake setup has been proven to outflow all aftermarket short ram and cold air intakes, (even with a paper air filter such as Fram)

now this isnt really relevant to
what we've been talking about
but what would an aluminum flywheel do?
XD

if there isnt a better header than the stock SVT
then why do they sell long tubes for it?
=/

About the intake..
idk man, I got an after market intake and it seems to be running
a little faster with it than my box..
=/
sounds better too haha
but I believe everyone about the header..
since it is a 4 to 2 to 1...right..
so my best bet would be an orp because I
could care less about a cat lol
so orp, tune, what else?
:D

just listen to these people...we've all been through this with other people like a thousand times...

headers=as good as it gets...they are long tube and people make after markey ones for money...if anything just wrap them to keep the heat down

exhaust=money that could be spent on FI

btw...i have a FS sri and an CAI i think the difference you feel is in the throttle responce...plus the added sound hipes your brain up...

but like others on here no matter how many flow charts and dyno runs you do i still say the after market intakes make the car feel better at least, if not perform better...

but to all of this honestly i have found that in most situations, we can all say that you should get these specific products and be done with it, in the end you always end up getting things that you think will make your car faster...thats what makes all of our foci on here just a lil different...

not to speak for him on here but Tom recommends getting a k&n panel filter, throttle body, and orp...+his tune of course!

if anyone trust him, he knows his shit
