Hi, I've lost this little cover under my car. Is that a problem? Anyone know the point of this cover, and what it's called?

Looks to be a cover to make changing the oil filter possible without removing the entire shield. I can't think of a big problem with that missing.

I am not sure what the Ford name for it is, as we don't have the Mk4 in the US.

I’ve wondered same. Mine was loose when I inspected last week had to zip tie it secure. Not a clue what it’s for.
