It's probably like swapping an svtf engine into a zetec car. You pretty much need a whole car for swap parts.

Does anyone have a write up on this? Im wanting to do it next winter and im having trouble figuring out what I need other than the obvious. I live in Alaska so taking a cruise to RDC is out of the question.

No one has a solid write-up. You would have to be in touch with Mike at RDC during the swap. That's honestly your best bet.

He seems to be a little tight lipped. I don't blame him he put a lot of time and money into it to promote his business. Swaps can be a decent way to recoupe costs.
It'd be cool if he sold a swap kit though (minus engine, trans, wiring harness and computer)

I won't divulge all my info on the Sedan Swaps, for Hatch, you get a donor and swap everything, and NO a DCT will NOT work as the engine harnesses are different, if you want to do an Auto, im game to do it, but wont divulge that info either. Thinking just an Engine, turbo bits and PCM is all you need, good luck with that. Hatch to Hatch is simple, but time consuming and tedious. My company specializes is Focus mods, conversions, soon lifts, and almost anything else. We have info we choose and choose not to share. Not trying to sound like a D***. But this company is my livelihood so if I shared everything i wouldnt be in business long..... Our conversion labor rate is the lowest you will find for all the work that goes into a conversion with better than OE quality.

Hey everyone! Just bought a '13 focus se sedan recently. Looking do to extensive work on it. Anyone would want to help me through it, as i am new to this, or anyone with advise would be greatly appreciated. Already been told its a waste but my situation doesnt allow me to swap it for st or rs, plus i hate hatchbacks lol. Starting this build in the summer.
Ideas:
Se to st engine swap
Auto to manual conversion
Fwd to 4wd
Rear drum brakes to disc brakes

Anyone has advise on these, or know if these things are even possible let me know. Gonna be a riot lol

Not a waste....buy an st? Naw m good....its.not a racecat but a few.mods have made it a lot funner to drive, look better....I have the basics in my signature for performance...hate to say but instead of swapping to manual, would have been better to buy one.....swapping to st can be done but you have to be.pretty mechanically inclined and acess to ford scan tools...or get a tuner like tom from focuspower.on here to get it working properly.

Tom cant do swapping to ST on Sedan (and he doesn't like the ST engine) , and its all the electrical thats the biggest issue

Give us some details when you're done, would be good to know what was involved, if you had to go to dealer for special programming or where you got custom tuning
