I might be getting a Focus to part out to help my Fiancee pay off some college loans before we get married for $300 only. Its got a misfire though. He thinks its cyl. #3. It does run and drive though. He claims its a injector maybe but never checked the coil pack. Any thoughts as to what it would be? If i take it, i would have to toss the part that's messing up so any help would be great.

the only real way to make sure you are not selling a pad part would be to fix the car.

You sure it's a misfire? "Misfire" is what people always say and it could be something else entirely. If it's an SPI, it could be a dropped valve seats.
