Since I do not have the car to test this I thought I asked

Is the system smart enough to choose phones once paired?
Example
Let say I pair my phone
Then my wife pairs her phone
If I get back in to the car will it automatically pair my phone?
If both my wife and I are in the car will ask for which phone do I want paired?
Not sure if MFT/Sync is that smart.

In my current car the system requires you re-pair the phone after someone else has paired.
I hope I made sense with this question

The Mini Cooper has a nice priority system. You can set the priority to the saved/paired phones so it pairs the phone accordingly. My brother's car has my phone and his paired into it and it only connects to my phone when he's not around. I hope MFT does the same.. I don't have MFT so can't help much

Both phones will remain paired.You never need to pair again (You can pair six phones)

You can choose the active phone in the menu. If you change your mind you can change again.
If only one phone is available that will become the active phone.
The first phone that is detected after you switch on the car ignition will become the active phone.
When my car is in the garage and my phone is in the house I can use the phone in the car. My garage is close to where I charge my phone.
