Previous owner was hit in passenger front. Car was repaired but the RF tire scrubs the inside of the wheel well. They've even taken out the splash shield.

So....I'm thinking I need to move the whole drive train to the right. I figure loosen the motor mounts on both sides...but what, if anything needs to be free to nudge everything over so my tire clears?

The idiots who did the repair work should be stoned....or were stoned.

If the tire hits the fender, moving the engine will not solve or change a thing. The tire will remain where it is and the CV Joint will move with the engine.

Maybe you could loosen the subframe and slide it a bit. But I'm really doubting it.

Bet bet is to find out what is bent and repair it.
In stock form, far as I remember, there is about a 2" gap all the way round the tire, assuming stock tire size.
So to rub the car would have to be lowered roughly 2" or the control arm would have the be bent 2" front or back.

Or the tire is oversized. Something like a 205/60 16 might come close to rubbing.
