Yeah as you know the SPI is slow. I want to custom make a turbo. Can anyone list the parts I would need and how complicated it would be?

get ahold of jeffescortlx, he made one for cheap. With a little more money you can run more boost.

alright here's basically what you need

turbo
manifold
down pipe
wastegate
dump pipe
intake
air filter
intercooler
charge pipes
bov
couplers
injectors
fpr (maybe)
fmu (maybe)
maf (maybe)
breather filter
catch can (maybe)
vaccum lines
oil return
oil feed line
miscellaneous fittings
t-bolt clamps (for high boost)
regular clamps (will do at moderate boost)
boost gauge
oil pressure gauge
gauge pillar (maybe)
wideband (maybe)
tuning
clutch (for mtx)
lentech (for atx)
"x" gauge wires
--------------------
welder (for diy)
good socket set (for diy)
adjustable wrenches (for diy)
utility knife (for diy)

there are probably many other things that i am forgetting but the most important thing that you'll need is patience.

i was in the same boat as you about 10 months ago and read everything that i could get my hands on that had to do with turbos so i could understand the setup of a turbo charged engine better. collecting all the neccesary parts alone took me over 5 months.

lol come on man, did you even try? I hope you know what a clutch is, and T-bolt clamps and gauges. Narrow down what you really dont know, then google the rest. If you still have questions we'll be happy to help.
