So got my Super Hubs being manufactured, got 100-7713 ARP lug studs, and looking now at open ended lug nuts that are nice a strong setup. I am looking at the following lug nuts: Gorilla Forged Steel Racing Lug Nuts Black Chrome Open Ended 12x1.50 (https://www.rallysportdirect.com/part/lug-nuts/gor-45038bc-20-gorilla-forged-steel-racing-lug-nuts-black-chrome-open-ended-12x1-50)

There are light weight ones but have done research and the aluminum ones are not always well advised or people have doubts on them.

Are Aluminum ok? What about Chrome Vanadium, or SCM-435 (same thing as Chrome Vanadium?)? People have mentioned Titanium lug nuts. Not sure which brands are the "good" brands and which ones are the "cheap" ones.

Or should I look at these? https://www.rallysportdirect.com/part/lug-nuts/kic-31876k-kics-r40-16-4-piece-regular-color-12x1-50-lug-nuts

So we have been using two sets of blox lug nuts. Aluminum, one set for 5 years, one with the new car this year. 5-7 on and offs a day depending on how many races in any given race weekend. Beginning of the year we chase the threads on the car and the each lug. Clean before every weekend. Torque to 75 lbs every time with a good wrench, every time. No exceptions. We have never had a loose nut after a session and never caused a warped rotor. Really no need for mega expensive lugs and don't screw with the tuner stlye which require a special socket, which is such a pain in the everything.
