I have a 2006 SES, and I would like to lower it with the svt springs. I like the look, and it is not too low for the area I live in. I saw the new springs from steeda and roush but they lower it 1.5-1.75 inches, and there are no shocks to go with it. I have modified many vehicles, but I know the stock shocks would not work well with those springs.
What parts would I need to use purchase to lower an 2006 ses with 2004 series svt lowering springs. I know I would need the springs. However, I thought I read that the 2006 struts up front have a different design. Would I need to use an svt specific hub, or could I use the 2006 hub with the 2004 struts. Now if I do have to use the 2004 svt hub, will i still be able to use my stock brakes with calipers. I do one day want to upgrade to svt brakes, but it is not in the budget right now.
So from my short time researching here, I think I need the springs and shocks, but am confused about the spindles, hubs, and shock mounting parts.
Any information would be appreciated.
