We got a set of Ford Racing Springs at work an nobody knows why so I think I can get them for cheap. What else would I need to get? Is it possible to just do the springs or do I need the struts and what not?

when you lower you need new dampers. your stock ones will not last long

You should be able to pick up some SVT dampers that'll work for a reasonable price

Yup. All you need to go with the springs is matching dampers. I would go to a Ford performance site and get the performance damper set as they are matched to those springs.
