Okay guys and gals... so I'm told that DTC code 9356, which is causing my check engine light to illuminate, means "Ingnition run circuit open", or something to that extent. Does this mean the ignition relay in the fuse box under the hood is screwed up, or could it be something else?

I think this whole thing started with me accidently grounding out the remote power wire coming from the back of my stereo... whoops! Anyway, I didn't get the check engine light until after I was messing with my subwoofers one night.

What do you think?

I did actually! Sorry, should have mentioned that. Well, I think I did. I disconnected both the positive and negative battery cables and left them off for a couple hours. Will that reset the ECU? To my understanding it does, but perhaps I don't understand well... ;)

I've been contimplating that.. don't really have the cash now though. Do you think it will hurt anything to leave the "ignition run circuit open"?
