I've checked the forum, and cannot find a definitive answer...so here are my facts...
2000 Focus Sport
New Tires
New rear wheel bearings (both sides at recommendation of local garage)
LOUD HUMMING PERSISTS
no noise until 20 mph
noise is loudest at 45-50 mph
road noise after 50 mph probably makes it seem less noisy
nothing loose under the car
nothing in the trunk that could cause the noise
going around a left curve on highway makes it go away
going around a right curve on highway makes it louder
It's got to be some sort of wheel/suspension problem, doesn't it?
Sounds like a problem that a whole bunch of focus owners have, so if someone can tell me what it is, I would certainly appreciate it...
