Hi Gang,

After 5 years of getting my oil changed at the dealer (for $33, which is only about $10 more than I pay for MC oil and a filter) on our '14 Focus SE, I decided to do it myself, since I'm doing the front brakes.

When I removed the shroud, I found a plug hanging loose at the bottom front of the engine, which turned out to match the empty connector on the oil pressure sensor. Shouldn't this have thrown a code or turned the oil light on?

I guess I stumped everyone, so I looked it up in the Motor Manual from the Library. It turns out that the switch is only closed when there is low oil pressure, so it would never come on if disconnected.
