I'm at a point where I need to either rebuild my engine, buy a shortblock or drop in a new motor. However, I would also like to get on the track, and SPEC focus seems ideal.

I see on the part list that there isn't anything to do internally for the SVTf. A coated long tube header which is just an SVT header with !shiny! coating... and a limited slip. Get the pads, rubber and camber plates and we're good to go. Do I need a cage? Also, I'm assuming there isn't performance difference between the Ford Racing Spec Dampers and Springs and the stock SVTf suspension. Please confirm.

I'm going to have the engine out anyway... is there anything I can put on there allowed by SPEC focus?

3:55 AM is when you posted?! Good golly! LOL!

I'll give you a call after my finals on Monday. I downloaded the NASA Spec Focus PDF and so I'll try to be more informed before the call.
