I'm going down down a wheel size on the svt and chose 16x7 Rota slips. My question is I'm trying to achieve a more complacent ride since my pro kit+my EAPs+Chicago roads are taking a toll on the car. Will this tire size 205/50-16 offer more protection than stock:215/45-17?

I had 205/50/16 and I have the sportline springs and it road way better then the stock 17's that came with the svt.

you should be good.

the 16s will. it has a bigger sidewall...which makes the ride more supple. pumpkin is correct

I would look at the 205/55 for the svt. Even more sidewall and it's a much more common size.
