I've been looking at a few varieties of forced induction for my SVT, but I have a lot of questions before I commit to such a major (and warranty-killing!) investment. I know Tom from focus-power is on here from time to time, so hopefully he can answer a few questions for me...

Tom: I've heard that you're making some really impressive power out of your kit, but there's a lot of information I'm lacking. I understand you're making somewhere around 300 wheelhp with your SVT kit, but I have a lot of questions. You're using a turbotecnics, ok, but which one? What's the boost/power curve look like? What kind of A/R ratio is the turbo running? Also, what sort of engine management are you using? I know that the JR kit has really crude engine management, basically just doubling fuel output under boost. Your website says the kit comes with a custom burned chip by chipguy, but how does this chip deal with the variable cam timing and all the other fancy stuff that comes on the SVT? Furthermore, is the power you're making on a stock bottom end on pump gas? If not, what kind of power can we expect for a kit tuned for 93 octane with stock pistons, rods, and all the rest? I know this is kind of a lot at once, but I try to be as informed as possible when dealing with these sorts of things.

Regarding the vortech: has anyone seen dyno/boost graphs for this kit? I'm not doubting their power claims, I just want to see what kind of off-peak power it makes. Also, does that kit work on the stock bottom end? And what sort of engine management are they using?

I am now making 325HP at the wheels with 311TQ at the wheels

We use a NEW turbonetics turbo but i dont say what the trims or the size of the turbo,It spools VERY fast and still makes big power

We will have new tuning out by the first of the year that will come with the kit and you will be able to make your own changes as you change things it will come with tuning ready to start and run then as your car grows you can make changes

The best i have seen on the Vortech to date is 260HP and ONLY 185TQ at the wheels ,My turbo kit at 260 HP made over 270TQ at the wheels thats almost 100pound FT TQ more

The SVT turbo kit comes with 50LB injectors for the tuning i made 325HP on 110 Oct fuel on 93 you can expect to run in the 230 to 250 HP and 240 to 260TQ range safely

OK, thanks a lot! Still wondering if you've got some sort of dyno or boost graph, though. I'm not doubting your power claims at all, I'm just wondering what the off-peak looks like, how much area is under the curve, etc.
