I just emailed black diamond racing, does anyone want to go in on an order of twenty with me? LoL. Stupid policy. Especially when you're apparently the ONLY company making them. Will any models of the escort one fit? I know certain mustangs will, but I don't have the necessary tools to 'modify' one. It's third on my list anyway, so Imight just keep checking eBay for a while ...

slim glad to see ya got it, did u use the stock TB gasket, and your stock TPS?, when i had to cork on mine it did run at a higher rpm, was prolly cuz i had air leak, u might also need to adjust the idel screw on their, when i got it it was all messed up, at one point i got the idle down to 1400rpm, and of course the cork was shit...hopefully ya get er working right

yea i think the idle screw is a little bit to high, right now it idles around 1000-1100rpms. I drove for 60 miles and no check engine light, after it sat for about 1.5 hrs i got a check engine light when i started up again, dont kno about it. I may just reset the ECU, lol.

fixed the idle problem. It was the gasket. Just went to ford and picked up a new one (does fit) and presto no problems now. Now i can start to have some real fun.
