I had my 01 ZX3 for 2 months now. I needed a reliable car to get to work at a decent price. A friend of the family sold me his on a Pay As You Can program which works great. I like the car, there is just one thing i hate. The doors lock automatically when i start the car. I changed the headlights soon after i got the car and when i turned on the car to aim the lights i closed the door and locked my keys in the car. Last week i locked my 3 year old in it. Liucky for me he wasnt buckled in his car seat yet so he rolled down the window for me. Now, is there a way disactivate this. A fuse I can remove or wire to cut so i wont have to worry about this again.

Remove the glove box and cut the GREEN wire with the WHITE stripe. Make sure you cut the wire that is going into the BLACK box. NOT THE PCM! Although you are better off just putting a toggle switch inline of the wire and using that.
