ok im going to be putting my stock svt rims back on put after i paint
them black and i was sanding one of them today and i seen that the lip
of it was bent jest a very little bit ,almost a little flat spot nothing
major, i have had the car for about 2 years i got it used and my rims on it now i have had for about a year , i never had trouble with the rims not balancing or holding air..

so is there a way i can fix this ,if not what is a ball park price for geting something like this fixed ,if it can be fixed..

i did a quick seach and found a few things but nothing
that helped me..

so if you have n e info on this that would help me
thanks

That looks very minor to me. As long as it holds air and balances OK, I wouldn't try to fix it. Unless the picture doesn't tell the whole story..

haha my svt rims have bent spots all in them. one is real bad. they are made from a very soft alloy and bent pretty easily. i wouldnt worry about that minor spot.

that is nothing compared to my bent wheels. lol. there are places that can fix that easily. dont attempt yourself. i had a technician i know try and he cracked the rim. i use a place here called wheelmedic. im sure there are places by you that do it. call a local dealership to see who they use

it would be risky but you could heat up the lip then get a curved peice of metal and hammer it onto untll the lip curves uniformly.

i dont really know how much this would alter the integrity of the material.

Though i dont advise this if your not willing to spend time AND/OR if you dont know WTH your doing OR these are you only wheels.

friend of mine had one of his volk rays forged wheels repaired by these guys. they did an excellent job, the wheel hit a wall at over 100 mph and you couldnt tell after they fixed it.
