I did this once before but since I am doing a new system now, I'll list my stuff and lets see what you guys have.
Contour:
Memphis M-Class 5.25 Co-axles in F & R, Pioneer DEH-P4600MP MP3 CD Player and XM Radio, Lightning Audio S2.250 amp and JL Audio 10W3 Sub. Thats for the wifey. There is also an Alpine Alarm on the Tour too!

Focus: Still being compiled:
Pioneer Premier DEH-P750MP + XM Radio
Pioneer CDX-P680 CD Changer
MB Quart RSD-213 5.25" Components FR
MB Quart DKE-168 6X8 Co-Axles R
Lightning Audio S4.600 Amp + Lightning audio wiring and 1 Farad Cap
Optima Red Top Battery

Still settling on a sub and Alarm

What you guys got and any suggestions?

Stock Head Unit, soon to be changed for the Eclipse AV8533, just as soon as the feds give me back my money [:D]

Speakers:
5 1/4" Blaupunkt Overdrive Series Components (Front)
6"x8" Blaupunkt TS series Coaxials (Rear)

Amp:
Directed 350 5-channel Amp. 50Wx4 RMS ch.1-4 at 4 ohms. 350W RMS ch. 5 at 2 ohms.

Sub:
Rockford Fosgate RFP4210 10" DVC (Punch HE2) 400W RMS/800W Peak. Probably only seeing about 300W RMS, but that's enough for me. Inside custom sealed/ported enclosure.

All wires are Stinger. Hyper Series RCA's. Pro 4 Gauge Kit Power and Ground. Bi-lateral OEM 4 channel line out converter makes the headunit work with the amp.

As for an alarm. I've got the Viper 791XV with proximity and voice warning. I have a piezo alarm inside the car for pain stimulation. As far as I'm concerned there isn't a better security system on the market than Viper.

That is all.

hu: pioneer premier p750mp
eq: pioneer deq-7600
speakers: cdt audio cl-61a componets in custom made kick panels and image enhancement tweeters in the a-pillars
componet amp: avionixx 400.2 (125 watts x 2 @ 4 ohm)
subwoofer: elemental design 12k.14 (4 ohm svc) soon to be in custom fiberglass sealed enclosure
sub amp: rockford fosgate punch 360a2 (somewhere a little over 360 watts, it's underrated)
wiring: like a mutt, peiced together with some lightning audio, some rockford fosgate, walmart stuff, some brand i haven't heard of, etc etc.
extras: crossovers so that the stock speakers in the front factory location play only 100hz and lower; delayed turn off so that radio stays on when you turn the car off until you open the door (kind of nice so you can still listen to it when i'm grabbing stuff before i get out); custom fiberglassed dash to fit double din and ford emblem with backlights (switchable from red - the car color - to green - the dash light colors - to blue - the ford logo color)

right now the radio is in repair for at least 2 weeks so i am kind of screwed, i have to throw the old stock radio in. oh well.

The Infinity Kappa Perfect 12VQ is quite possibly one of the best subs I have ever heard. They are so damn accurate.

i replaced the stock cd player w/ a rockford fosgate 9210 mp3 player, and the front and rear stock speakers with rockford fosgate FRC3268's. it is my humble attempt at better sound on a budget.
