go for the silverstar ultras. i have them, and in my opinion (along with many many others on this site) theyre the brightest and highest quality bulb you can get. theyre around 35 or 40$, but trust me theyre the best bulb you can get. theyll shine much farther ahead than yours now, and will be a light similar to daylight =D

Tavi you need H.I.D. Bulbs and those [:)][:)][:)][:)]ers cost alot compared to regular bulbs

you need to get d2s bulbs

you can find different heat temps

go to plasmagarage.com

and I would recomend 6000k bulbs

silverstar ultras arent HIDs. i have the silverstar h4s, theyre a direct fit and the best bulb ive ever used =D

heres a comparison (this isnt fake, it truly does shine that much farther and brighter)

if believe silverstars are around 4100k or so, im not sure tho. if you donn't get silverstars, just make sure u dont go any farther higher than a 6k bulb (the k is a representation of the "temperature" of the light.) anything above 6k starts to lose light. heres a chart of the temperatures =)

Low Beam (HID)............................................. ......D2S
High Beam.............................................. ..............H7 55w
Turn Signal............................................ ................3457
City/Parking........................................... ...............W5W/194/2825

deff go with the silver start ultras, very very rarly do you ever hear of them melting the head lights or fryin the wiring. i have had a pair in my focus for the past year, and they get used every day a few hours a day.. or night trips between 12-16 hours non stop running.

These are my Ultras..... I got them In July, same as the focus, when I discovered one night that I only had one running headlight [rolleyes] they're about a little less than four months old, and I took this picture a couple days ago.... I think they're pretty bright... picked em up for about $40 inc. tax from pepboys (lol)

oh and I don't know if anyone's answered this, but yes, your bulbs do get dimmer with age... usually a couple of years though...

ah now, as you see here......the one light that did work was kinda yellowed out and not so bright..... and the other one, well, was burnt out or something... lol
