I attend quite a few of local/ semi-local shows around Hagerstown. But i have only seen 1 or 2 FF.com members. This is something that needs changing. Everyone in our region knows how to get to Frederick, MD.
GoldenGears.org is advertising a show that is taking place August 19 and 20. The place, The Great Frederick Fairgrounds. this place is nearly as large as Carlisle. There are plenty of activities that are to take place during the event. We need to represent our passion for our Foci immediately! If you dont come saturday, please come sunday. though, in order to compete in judging, saturday's attendance is required. there are plenty of hotels nearby. and plenty of great restaraunts within just a mile or two. there is a club participation trophy to be given out. im sure our FF.com stickers will constitute. and i do know that there are a huge amount of us bearing these stickers. we would also only be judged in the Ford 1981 & up class. this is a bit unfortunate. but still, a great turnout will be great! please visitTHIS PAGE for more details on the show.
I plan on being there first thing saturday morning. if you want to meet somewhere before the show, please PM me. i work like 1 mile away and i got a pretty big parking lot for us to stage in. directions to the show is easy. I70 East and take Exit 56. if you are wanting to meet beforehand, please PM me for easy directions to my work. i will be leaving my work around 9am. if you need to wash your car there, this is fine too. i have 2-4 garage bays to do this. or you can bring your Mr. Clean Autodry and do it in the lot. again, please PM me or call my cell at 3019929397 for meeting information.
