alright, so I like the OEM look of the focus, but I'm gettin a little
sick of it so i wanna do something different. So far all I've done to
the exterior is a front lip. i wanna do a subtle but noticeable
change to my focus, so i figured why not start with the third
brake light. found this LED third brake on ebay, i love
the LED look, so i just wanted to know if this would be the
right one to buy, n what you guys think of it?

Go for it! I will have to say that having LED's on the back of cars does look clean. They are much brighter also and they last longer. haha, after seening this thread i'm thinking about buying one of those puppies!

I thought about getting that too. I really like it, but I'm going a different route. If I did that, then I would want the led tail lights, but I don't like the look of them. Anyways I say go for it.

I have an ebay LED 3rd taillight on my hatch. I was a bit nervous because of quality concerns, but after receiving it i was pleasantly surprised at the look and feel of the item.

Light output is much better (maybe too good IMHO) but the window washer does lack quite a bit. It just kinda spills water over the window which isnt too big of a deal in my mind so im still happy.

I cut the nozzle out with a dremel and put the factory one on. Works fine, just make sure it's a square shape.

i also did the rear wiper delete so i just filled the sprayer with caulk

haha actually, that's what i plan to do in the future. I wanna do a complete LED swap (3rd brake, tails, front markers, dome light, footwell lighting) so i figured why not start here? =D

they used to have a black one available, i waited too long and cant find them. but yeah, think you'll be happy with it.

They don't make an LED 3rd brake light or LED taillights for the sedan. No one ever has.

for a sedan you can just buy LED bulbs and call it LED tail lights.

ya tahts true, theres no real difference. if ur handy enough im sure u can come up with something good =) i always like to think that custom built is much better than bought tuner stuff
