Another season has quickly gone by, and we'll be having our last scheduled grease trucks meet on Saturday October 11th. I'll be there without many changes unless I get my ass in gear, and Cherrry will be there with her new ZTS and maybe a mod or two. [driving]
If you'd like to have a look at the first ported SVT head sold from Central Florida Motorsports, I'll be bringing it with me to show off in the hatch! Feel free to bring anything you think people would be interested to check out; they're always good conversation starters. []
This season was fairly uneventful (for NJ anyway), with a sweltering hot All-Fords show in Carlisle to boot. Next year is shaping up to be much more interesting for us, and the Focus community as a whole, as I'm tentatively working with some people here to showcase the Ford Focus at the '09 Carlisle show. I'm also looking forward to having my supercharger project completed this winter, and it's rumored Craig might be getting his Duratec beast in action. [] Cherrry's ZTS will probably start taking up a bit of my time for next year as well, as we get a few Euro pieces in order. Slipster has been diligently working on his Euro conversion as he's finished getting the whole rear end installed, and it looks awesome. [] Dipindods, our buddy from LIFoci, blew up the show circuit this year with his car, and I can't wait to see what he has in store for next year. Superchop has hinted at having a few tricks up his sleeve for next year, and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else has been up to during the winter downtime, too.
