Howdy all,

Since my 05 ST has 54k miles on it and the shocks are nearing the end of their theoretical lifespan, I'm contemplating getting some new, stiffer shocks to go with my newly acquired SVT springs before I install them. [thumb] I was originally going to get Koni Sport adjustables, but I'm having second thoughts due to their high price.

I noticed that Koni has just started selling an entry-level non-adjustable shock called the STR.T for a very attractive price (~$330/set street price). Since Koni typically sells a high-quality product and they come with the same lifetime warranty as the adjustables, I'm highly tempted.

Does anyone have a set of STR.Ts on their Focus? Any comments?

Thanks!

Why not use SVT shocks with the SVT springs. That way you're guaranteed to have the correct damping for those springs. They may not be fancy, frilly,or cost a whole lot of money but they will get the job done.

PS, you can get a complete set of SVT shocks for less than 200.00 from site vendors.
