Does anybody know where I can find this?

And no, I don't mean the floor mats, I mean the kick panel. I'm not looking for that specific one, just speaker kick panels in general.

Crutchfield , just click on the outfit my car and it will give you a list of everything that is compatible with your year after you fill out the information . Those look like carbon fiber and they are a wee bit more expensive than the regular .

I know this is an ancient thread but I thought that I would share what I just got in from Crutchfield that has been on back order for about 3 months now.

I have the Infinity Kappa 5 1/4 series in these :

They are nice, but I think the covers need some flare or some action, they look bland! Ya know? I was thinking about getting a pair also.

I guess it would depend on what size components you want . They do make those kick panels in a 6.5 too. But they cost about $100 more and I happened to have the Infinity Kappa's 5 1/4 laying around doing nuttin.

But I did try to get the backs for the original covers to fit but they wouldn't no matter what I tried . So I didn't have a choice but to use the covers that came with the panels..

I could probably take the covers out and do some type of custom paint job on them but that's about it .

They look good, kind of melt in with the stock look. I wonder how difficult it would be to make them...
I can't say but I've had those on order from Crutchfield for about 3 months so either everybody wants some or not many people have been asking about them .

I guess if you've worked with fiberglass and maybe have a set to use as your mold they would be pretty easy to make . [wrenchin]

The Q Logic kick panels were $169.99 . The Infinity Kappa series 5 1/4 component speakers were $279.00 a few years ago when I got them but now I just looked and they have the newer Kappa's going for $249.99

Were they easy to wire up? What did you connect them to? I really like them!

I wired the incoming power from my head unit to them so I would be able to use the steering wheel controls until I decide on a new head unit to go in its place and then I'm planning on getting new steering wheel controls ..

But you have your incoming power go to the crossover that comes with them and then you wire your component speakers into the crossover and your set. Each crossover has a woofer input + - Tweeter + - input + - Or at least that was what was on mine.

Tricky part is finding a place to mount the crossover so it will be out of the way and hopefully not pick up any interference from other wiring sources .
