just had a question and maybe you guys could help.
is it necessary to buy the shocks to go with the ford racing springs for my 2012 focus?
and does anyone here have just the racing springs on their car?

No, they're not required. This is especially true since Ford doesn't sell separate performance shocks/struts for the NA Mk3 Focus. If you need firmer shocks/struts, they did sell a handling option on some of the non-ST Foci. Ford will sell those parts on the cheap.
