yowza LOL! a couple of times over the summer down here I've left the car in direct sunlight and the sun beats down on my t handle...i go to get back in the car and....YOUCH LOL JUST A LIL BIT! its just as bad in the cold....nothing like touching a 50 degree shifter handle...LOL

If I know it is going to be a scorcher and I cannot leave the moonroof cracked open, i cover the steering wheel, and the seat bottom, and the shift with paper towels. Works.

I carry a beach towel in the warmer months (March-October) to cover everything up, plus I have extremely dark tint to block most if not all the heat from coming in. It like a cave in my car, very dark.
