I saw on ebay the SVT intake snorkel. It would cost me roughly $70cdn to buy + shipping. I still have the stock airbox w/out the resonator and was wondering if in a month or two once I get my volant intake, whether it is still worth to have?

SVT Intake Snorkel - Ebay

I'm slowly upgrading one part at a time. Volant Intake then TB and when I do my TB, I'm doing to smoothen out some parts of the manifold. I would like to get the full intake done by the winter time btw. [cheers]

I have them for $40.23. But your biggest gain would be the whole svt airbox system from Ford Racing. That kit includes the snorkle also and that kit is $114.40. Keep in mind that the stock svt airbox will outflow any aftermarket cai there is even with a stock filter.

So then basically my best intake setup for PERFORMANCE (not looks) would be an SVT Snorkel + SVT intake box w/ K&N Filter?

I know the volant looks cool and whatnot, but looks are not really much of an issue. I've been considering to start painting some stuff in there. Make it look half decent but really never want to have to give up performance for looks.

And looks like you can get that intake + snorkel at a lot better of a deal then a volant.

^^ There is no way to really comferm my guessing here, but im willing to bet the volant with the intake scoop and the svt snorkle mounted below would out flow the svt. Though it only would at higher speeds like 60mph. But for bang for the buck the svt is the way to go. [thumb]
