maybe i'm dumb for bringing this up...
i was just curious if what people consider rear brake squeal is what i have...my focus sometimes lets out a little whine after doing some heavier braking but usually only near the very end as i'm coming to a stop...nevertheless it's pretty annoying...i found a post with a link to a TSB http://www.alldata.com/tsb/Ford/1117436400000_1117695600000_05-10-5/index.html that fixes the break squealing problem so i was wondering it would fix my problem...if so i'll be heading out to my local ford dealership!

p.s. it also squeals A LOT when the brakes aren't warmed up but that goes away pretty quickly...

My 2005 had this issue.
It's was intermittent when it would squeal.
Cold or hot weather didn't matter or how long I had been braking.
It would occur right before I would come to a complete stop.
Didn't matter if I braked lightly or heavy.

I took it in to the dealer this weekend and they performed that TSB for free since it squealed for them on the test drive.

It's been 3 days and the TSB seems to have solved the issue.

Best thing to do if you have this issue is to print out the TSB and go to the delaer and let them hear the squeal than hand them the TSB.
