Stock zetec engine (130,000 mi), T28 turbo with log mani, Tial external wastegate, 8x26 IC with 2.5 IC piping, custom intake mani with stock SVT TB, stock 03+ fuel pump, stock 4.6 V8 injectors (not sure of the flow rating), MSD coil with 9mm wires. I'm planning on running around 10psi DD, with 15psi at the track. I'm planning on getting the SCT for tuning. The shop by me uses that for all the mustangs they tune so i know they have the experience to tune mine. I'm just not sure if these injectors are big enough mainly.

First welcome to the forum. second no the injectors from the 4.6 are the same size has your stock injectors. Your mileage should be ok just do a compression check to make sure there still good for boost. Has for the amount of boost your saying your going to run. I do believe 11psi is the max the stock internals can take. Some have put out more but the reliablitly ends there. Here is a link to Toms section of the forum he will be able to tell you alot more since he seems to be the turbo guru around here. He has tuned and made a many of powerful foci DD and track.

Thanks for the info on the injectors. I wasn't sure what they flow. I just knew there off a bigger engine and there a different color than mine so i figured they were a higher flow rate. With the small turbo and low 10 psi of boost will i be needing a BAP or should it work stock with a good tune.

they could be 24# er's but I'm pretty sure they are 19#er's. Your stock fuel system should be good you might need a BAP (boost-a-pump) but Tom would be alot better on telling you what you need

by the way no real need for the msd, stock coil and wire work fine. as for injectors you probably need 42#.
I dont really see you needing a BAP for 10 psi, 15- probably
and 15psi on stock zetec internals is kinda pushing it...

I also dont see you needing a custom intake and I wouldnt use the SVT TB

Also just because a shop tunes a lot of mustangs does not mean he will be good at tuning you Focus that has been shown here dozens of times before , look around and see if you can find a shop that has tuned some Foci

and i dyno tuned my car when i put my cams in at a mustang place that had done a couple foci, i was not impressed.

There is only one Mustang tuner here locally that ACTUALLY knows how to tune a boosted Focus. All the rest have just been horror stories. Dig around. You'll find them or they'll just come in and post up.

BAP isn't needed as long as you plan to stay in low boost. 10 psi in a Zetec is plenty fast for a DD.

I say custom because its a one off piece made by someone that makes a lot of honda and nissan intakes, its actually pretty good quality and I was only using it because I have the crappy 2 piece intake manni and I thought it might blow up. I also have a stock SVT manni, would that be better to run. And is the SVT TB to big for my setup or is there another reason i shouldn't use it. Just curious. Ill ask some local people i know where they got there boosted focus' tuned. I think they go somewhere in Ill which is like 2 hours away that's why i was going to go to the local shop, but i guess a safe tune is better than a close tune.

I'm still waiting on a response from my buddy here in FF. He hasn't PM'd back with that info yet.

I remember that this tuner is in the Schaumburg/Naperville area but I can't remember the shops name.

I'll get back to you on that.

where oh where is this???

might be thinking of the place i went to, i had a terrible experience there. tune is good for crusing, and WOT is good too, but at idle the stft pegs lean and i have all kinds of idle control issues. They just didnt spend any time on driveability. Not to mention they bad mouthed my car the whole time i was there for being just a focus and for not locking up the torque converter in 3rd gear (when it was THEM who was messing up). ill PM both of you the name of the place.

oh btw they also turned off my knock sensor, which im not happy about given my car is a DD and the non-svt focus knock sensor works fine...
