As the title suggests, my 2006 Ford Focus CL LS 2.0L 5 speed manual is having intermittent starting troubles. I have included a video, as I am not too good at describing technical problems.

Background: This is an intermittent problem; it usually starts first time. It usually only occurs after short journeys, however, it has been known to occur randomly.

Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if I need to include any more information.

Edit: It eventually started after giving is a bit of gas, but I would like to know the possible causes of this problem.

My Scientific Wild Arsh Guess (SWAG) would be poor fuel pressure; based on your symptoms or given it a bit of gas to help it start. Have you ever replaced your fuel filter?
