Having trouble at moment starting 1.6 Zetec 51reg. Usually first attempt when cold results in nothing happening. Second attempt and it starts straight away as if nothing is wrong. When warm its pretty much hit or miss whether it does it or not. Had the battery checked out and it seems ok. Is this a fuel start problem rather than electrical? It seems too hit and miss to be electrical. Had new start motor fitted back in January. If you turn engine off then restart immediately its fine.
