I just installed a couple of these under the dash, looks amazing

im wondering if anyone knows any other spots in my zx5 to put leds without going overboard.

i have mine under the dash and under the seats.... people have also put them in the trunk to replace that crappy little light back there...

is it illegal to have leds inside up on the roof, shining down?

nothing too crazy, just a light glow. maybe a smooth led wire around the roof inside.

could i get busted for that?

I doubt you would but that depends on where you live, and whether or not you rub the officer the wrong way[|)]

i would say yes, esp. with blue.....

now if i ever get pulled over with my interior leds on in my vents and under seats ill go to court and argue that its now a stock option on the focus the "ambient lighting"

i think its only illegal to drive with them on but if yuour just chillen somewhere you cant get busted

I think if you can see them above the dash it's illegal if they are blue or red depending on the state. I like the door idea...that's pretty sick looking. How did you do that Hexagram? What did you tap into for power?

I ran the wires through the door, and up to my light switches. i dont have any power windows or locks so thats why i ran it up there.
and it has 12v hardware so you can just run the wires.

And you can get the strip in blue aswell, since thats what color you want.

mine you can barely see only on the back roof.... but im switching the whole setup up then we will see how it looks

With dark enough tint i dont think the cop will see a light hazy blue glow inside. if he actually pulls me for it ill slap a cop in the face and tell him he only wishes he had cool little leds in that old-ass crown victoria... lmao!
