Yea. I've only seen one when i was working in a independent shop. they just replaced the ENTIRE transmission instead of just the clutches.... and they still had to send it to ford to get programed.
The Motor Vehicle Owners' Right to Repair Act is what allows smaller shops the ability to work on cars , granted they have a minimum 1500-10k scan tool and pay for subscriptions to sites that have all the ininfo.. nowa days cars are so advance the dealers can literaly lock out anyone who doesn't have dealer software. Dodge is super bad about this.
