I was rummaging through some of nstiesi's images, and I came across this:



Not the best place for a tach IMO, but it would be a killer spot for a sleeper boost gauge...

it can be good for any gauge except tach lol.. if i am not wrong a guy from this forum put an A/F gauge there...

but this is only possible if you've got manual windows, i've got automatic windows and my switches for all windows are placed over there

Finally! I can add to my list!

Why manual crank windows are better
1. They won't crap out on you when it's starts raining and your window is down.
2. Unique gauge placement.

can the manual crank windows be lighter than the powered ones?

I thought my ears were ringing, lol. No, it wasn't the ideal place, but its what I went with. I love the placement aesthetically, looks good and very clean, not a wire in sight. I myself was actually suprised how I don't need to take my eyes off the road that severely to glance at it. Hey, I'm just honored to be a point of debate!

Here's another one. Volt gauge, sits just to the right of the steering wheel from the driver's persepective. Luckily, this one doesnt take much monitoring.
