Has anyone had any issues with carbon build up on intake valves on their MK3 Focus.
I've been reading that this is a problem with some direct injection engines; most notably VW and Audi; haven't heard anything about Ford but I was wondering if anyone has seen this problem with high mileage Focus models from 2012 onward.
It seems advanced engine technology is playing a part in which car makers have this problem.

Lots of discussion, so far none of the members with 100k have reported problems.
