I plan on getting rid of my intake manifold since I plan to go direct port (dual stage won't work with DP)

Whats my intake manifold options? I hear alot of talk about Ported Early 2000 models. Whats different on the early ones?

Keep in mind I need to keep power up high. I currently shift at 7500, and when I get cams and valve springs probably 8000+ (after I finish the oil pump project)

8000 rpms???!!! ur gonna blow ur engine man! as for intake manis SVT intake mani's are some of the best for us ZX3 people but ur an SVT so u might want to put this question in the SVT forum

How would I blow the engine turning 8000? With cams, valve springs, and an oil pump theres no reason I can't turn 8000 day in and day out.

if you are looking for power up high i'd say look into a sheet metal short runner intake manifold. i know focus-power sells one, and there is at least one other company but i cant remember which one.
