i want to install a sub woofer in my car. i've got a ford 6000cd rds audio player with front and rear speakers. i want to know which wires i must connect to suply the subwoofer. there 4 wires each speaker and i don't know which one i've got to take.

well, I hope you are going to use an amp first off since the head unit will fry like fish in a pan if you don't. Second, if you are using an amp, you'll need to check and see if it has stereo inputs or not. If not, you'll need a line-out converter, costs about $20-30 USD. Once you have the converter, I'd splice the wires for the rear speakers to the amp, and then power the sub from the amp. You won't get anything good from the sub if you power with the unit you have now.

what color are the wires that go to the speaker in the rear door? i am trying to install a powered sub from the wires that go to the back door, but i want to use the wires near the floor between the front and rear door, and i dont know which ones to use. thanks
