Hi,

I'm considering purchasing the Sony CDX-565MXRF MP3 10 disc changer but I've got a question about using the RF Modulator. I haven't looked under the dash but I'm assuming that I just need to disconnect the aerial, add the input from the changer to the aerial and input this into the radio.

Has anyone got any experience with this? I'm wondering what sort of adapter I will need to add the changers RF feed to the aerial.

Is it even possible????

Just want to get my facts straight before I order this thing off the internet.

i've never installed an RF style changer but go to http://sm.crutchfield.com/S-mremNXM4b6j/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=158CDX565M&s=0&cc=01 and add the item to your cart, say hat you want the free stuff, enter your vechile information, and then it should tell you what you need to install it. for some reason it comes up with 2 peices for the antenna (aerial) adapter, there is another brand that has this antenna adapter in one peice, it looks like this http://www.partsexpress.com/images/265-591m.jpg . there are about 3 kinds of these that i know of and since you are out of the US, your parts that you need may be called different things, look different, and definately will have different brands for them. but that should give you an idea. also, look at the manual for installing that changer at sony's website http://www.iq.sony.com/srvs/sosdocs/default.asp?src=sonysupport enter CDX565MXRF and then click installation/connection intructions. don't forget the tools for removing the radio also. they look like this: http://www.partsexpress.com/images/265-786m.jpg . good luck.
