hey guys i know how to install a sub and amp. i just had a stupid question. i wanted to install a switch to be able to turn the system on and off when i didn't want to use the sub. would i just wire the switch to the remote wire and 12v source and ground?

Just run a switch in the remote wire. That is all you need.

^^^ yea i did the same thing its a good little feature to have if it isnt able to do it through the head unit

question, why would you not want to use the sub? wouldn't you have to go in and adjust your speaker levels everytime you do this?
