I am going to be purchasing the JRSC, according to focussports, this is a 16 hour job on an SVT.
My question is to SVT owners that have either done the install them selves or at a shop, the time it actually takes?

- I am a mechanic
- I have a large array of tools
- Access to a lift

I want to know if i can get this done in 6 hour saturday.

ouch, i went with the procharger because of the power potential and easy install. it took me about 15-20 hrs to install my p/c but once i got it down, it took me 4 hours to install utahsvt's p/c.
since you're a mechanic, you'll have the upper hand. i heard there are i think 4 bolts that are a PITA to put in. they also aren't kidding that it takes about 16 hrs for the install. i had a friend with a zx3 and they gave it over to ford and it took them about that long to get it in. also, i've heard from a lot of people to make sure you have EVERYTHING when you get the kit. there have been people that have been missing parts with their jrsc.
good luck and hopefully it won't take you that long.
